Current Spraying Operations :

Ground & air spraying locations, dates, and times are listed below. Map, if available, is also attached. In response to increased adult mosquito populations and/or the detection of West Nile Virus, the District is preparing to conduct adult mosquito control operations in the following area(s):

  • Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyronly 525 or Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, April 11, 2017 between 7:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. *or the evening of Wednesday, April 12, 2017 between 7:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.  
    • Portion of South Manteca - East of San Joaquin River:  > North to Melton Rd., > South to Stanislaus River, > East to 1/2 mile East of Manteca Rd. > West to San Joaquin River  See Map COMPLETE
  • Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyronly 525 or Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday, April 11, 2017 between 7:15 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. *or the evening of Wednesday, April 12, 2017 between 7:15 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.  
    • Rural Northwest San Joaquin County: Between Peltier Rd and Jahant Slough/Mokelumne River, including potions of Bender Rd., Taddei Rd., Jahant Rd., Davis Rd., Devries Rd., and Ray Rd.  COMPLETE
    • Rural North Victor: Between Mokelumne River & 1/2 mile south of Kirschenman Rd. including portions of Cherry Rd, Schmidt Rd., Bunie Ln. COMPLETE
    • Rural East Lodi: Kennison Ln. COMPLETE
      
  • Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyronly 525 or Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, April 12, 2017 between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. *or the morning of Thursday, April 13, 2017 between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.  
    • Portion of South Manteca, West of San Joaquin River: > North to Critchett Rd, > South to San Joaquin County Line, > West to S. West to Kasson Rd. > East to San Joaquin River  See Map COMPLETE
  • Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyronly 525 or Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, April 12, 2017 between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. *or the morning of Thursday, April 13, 2017 between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

The District will be conducting periodic aerial larviciding work to target mosquitoes in their aquatic stage. The aerial larviciding will be along the San Joaquin River and Mokelumne Rivers corridors, as well as other areas of significant flooding where mosquito development is found. Larviciding in public areas will be posted to this page when possible. Posted 3/16/17

  • Aerial spraying for larval mosquito control using VectoBac GS, is scheduled for the morning of Monday, April 10, 2017 depending on weather conditions.   COMPLETE
