Current Spraying Operations :

Ground & air spraying locations, dates, and times are listed below. Map, if available, is also attached. In response to increased adult mosquito populations and/or the detection of West Nile Virus, the District is preparing to conduct adult mosquito control operations in the following area(s):

  • Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyronly 525 or Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the morning of Friday, May 19, 2017 between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. *or the morning of Saturday, May 20, 2017 between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.  
    • Lodi Lake and Wilderness area: See Map COMPLETE
    • South Ripon area: > North to Doak Rd & Cheryl Lane, > South to Stanislaus River, > East to Hwy 99, > West to Olive Ave. See Map  COMPLETE
      

The District will be conducting periodic aerial larviciding work to target mosquitoes in their aquatic stage. The aerial larviciding will be along the San Joaquin River and Mokelumne Rivers corridors, as well as other areas of significant flooding where mosquito development is found. Larviciding in public areas will be posted to this page when possible. Posted 3/16/17

  • Aerial spraying for larval mosquito control using VectoBac GS, is scheduled for the morning of Monday, May 22, 2017 between 7:00 am and 12 noon, *or the morning of Tuesday, May 23, 2017 between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
