Current Spraying Operations :

Ground & air spraying locations, dates, and times are listed below. Map, if available, is also attached. In response to increased adult mosquito populations and/or the detection of West Nile Virus, the District is preparing to conduct adult mosquito control operations in the following area(s):

Ground spraying for adult mosquito control using Pyrocide 7067, is scheduled for the morning of Friday, June 23, 2017 between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. *or the morning of Saturday, June 24, 2017 between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.  
  • Portion of West Brack Tract: See Map COMPLETE
  • Southern Portion of the City of Ripon: > North to W. Main St., > South to Doak Blvd , > West to S. Wilma Ave., > East to S. Stockton Ave. See Map  COMPLETE
  • Portion of South San Joaquin County area: > North to 1 mile north of E. McMullin Rd., > South to Perrin Rd., > East to Airport Way, > West to S. Hays Rd. See Map COMPLETE

The District will be conducting periodic aerial larviciding work to target mosquitoes in their aquatic stage. The aerial larviciding will be along the San Joaquin River, Mokelumne River, and Stanislaus River corridors, as well as other areas of significant flooding where mosquito development is found. Larviciding in public areas will be posted to this page when possible. Posted 6/20/17

  • Aerial spraying for larval mosquito control using VectoBac GS, is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, June 21, 2017 between 7:00 am and 12 noon, *or the morning of Thursday, June 22, 2017 between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon or the following day 7:00 a.m. to 12 noon until the work is completed.
    Areas adjacent to the Stanislaus River including; but not limited to, Ripon River Crossing, Jack Tone Golf Course, and the Ripon Sewer property.  COMPLETE
